Duarte Barbosa
He was a portuguese officer in India from 1500 to 1516. Barbosa was a writer. Barbosa left India to join Ferdinand Magellan's ambitious expedition to circumnavigate the world for the first time. He was killed during an unfortunate event in philippines along with Ferdinand.
Barbosa wrote in detail about the trade and society in south india in his book named "The book of Duarte Barbosa" [Livro de Duarte Barbosa]
Jean-Baptiste Tavernier

Jean - Baptiste Tavernier was a french visitor. He was a gem merchant who travelled India 6 time between 1630 and 1668. He was impressed by India's
mercantile and trading environment and compared India with Iran and Ottoman Empire.
Niccolao Manucci

Niccolao Manucci was an Italian Traveler who came to India and never returned back.
He wrote his account of Mughal India titled " Storia - do - mogor" or The story of the Mughals. It is one of the very few first hand accounts of the Mughal India from Shahjahan, Aurangzeb, Shiva Ji, Shah Alam I, Mirza Raja Man Singh and some others.
He was personal physician of Prince Dara shikoh.
He commissioned many miniature paintings for his book just like Mughal Chronicles.
